Cyprus 1880 1s Green, Plate 13, with RAYBAUDI CERT, Scott 6, SG 6, MH/MM, Cat $900 ............ SG £850($1,180)

Very fresh with excellent color, very well centered, with a light hinge remnant trace and a light pencil signature on otherwise full original gum.

Scarce 1880 1s Green, Plate 13 issue in very fine mint condition.

Note:- The overprint is of course guaranteed and has a very good Raybaudi Certificate confirming the overprint and the original gum but it is worth noting that the stamp has almost as much value without it.

Condition notes for mint stamps 

UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
