This is a 1938 commemorative first day cover envelope celebrating the 300th anniversary of Swedish and Finnish colonization in Delaware.Left side: Features an ornate decorative seal or emblem in burgundy/maroon and pink colors with a scalloped border. The central seal contains what appears to be a coat of arms with figures and text reading "GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE" around the perimeter, with "1847" visible at the bottom of the seal.
