Denmark 1940-42 GRØNLAND Polar bear Promotion Cinderella Label related to Greenland. From Jensen's Arms Series VF-NH. Daka #2. Highly Sought-after.During the German Occupation the Copenhagen Tobacco dealer P. Jensen issued a series of 256 labels with Danish coats of arms (except two labels that show Greenland motives). In the late 1940s, Aage Brünner, Copenhagen, published an album for collecting the labels. These stamps became very popular but were often glued to the album. Those found with gum or in multiples are scarcer and command a premium.Part of Jensen's highly sought-after Arms series, this stamp is more than just a cinderella; it's a piece of philatelic history. Mint never hinged, it bears a VF (very fine) classification, testifying to its finesse and preserved beauty.
