Item Description

This is a genuine Graf Zeppelin picture postcard posted through Fridrichshaffen en route to Nebraska about a week after the German 2 Reichmark airmail stamp was initially issued (Sept. 30, 1928). The zeppelin stamp is crisp and nicely tied to the postcard for the airship's initial flight over the Atlantic Ocean to North America. The New York City receiving postmark is also crisp and clearly evident.
