Grade: Ungraded1850s manuscript stampless cover (envelope only; no content) from Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Arc format at lower left with date in the middle; manuscript "5" rate at upper right. Addressed to Janesville, WI. Soiling and edge wear; creased corner at upper left. Extensive creasing to backflaps with some paper loss from tearing. Jackson County, opened 1849. A manuscript is listed in ASCC but not as a fancy marking like this - highly unusual manuscript.Your satisfaction is guaranteed. APS member since 1992 and Hip seller since 1996.
