Item Description

First day of issue cover with a single stamp of Scott number 2514, Christmas Madonna and Child stamp. All copies are still in the plastic covering they were placed in by the cancelling process. Postmark is Washington D.C. Oct 18, 1990. Name and address are in light pencil and can be erased if removed from the plastic. I chose to store them intact. Photo of the cover is representative of all covers I am intending to sell, the cancel bar strikes through the bottom of the stamp. All copies have the Philatelic Sales Division postcard included (see photo). Since this stamp is from a booklet and all stamps were used, they will vary as to being perfed on one side, or having four sides of perfs. I have 10 copies of perfs on all sides, so that is what you will probably receive. If you are looking for specific location in the stamp on FDC, I have two copies of the unperfed plain edge on the right side and one copy of the non perfed side on the left.
