This First Flight Cover was mailed from Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Atlanta, Georgia in 1935 franked by a 3-cent deep violet Mount Ranier & Mirror Lake Parks issue of 1934, Scott 742, Plate Number Single, and its imperf counterpart, Scott 758 of 1935, an imprint single. The stamps are tied to the envelope by a machine cancellation.

the Cachet Reads:

'First Air Mail Flight from Winston - Salem, N.C.' and is signed by Chas. E. Norfleet, 'Pres. Chamber of Commerce.'

The backflap is un-sealed and intact. No contents or backstamps. A little machine cancel set off verso.
