Its first stamps were issued September 22, 1964. Fujairah agreed to join the United Arab Emirates on December 2, 1971. The UAE took over responsibility for postal operations on August 1, 1972. Fujairah's stamps may have been accepted for postage until April 1973.Of excellent quality, these stamps are a treasure for collectors, showing no signs of hinge.
