Hamburg, 1870, stampless cover / wrapper of folded letter addressed to Messrs. R. & H. Fontesnoing freres, Libourne Gironde. There is a blue merchant's mark "G.C. LORENZ MEYER, HAMBURG / JUN 15 1870," and postal markings: black manuscript "6" = 6 decimes postage due, black departure handstamp "HAMBURG I.A. / 5-6N / 15 6 / 70," blue cachet d'entree "TOURT. 3 FORBACH 3 / 4E/17.
