Item Description

Great Britain, Scott #358c (Stanley Gibbons #592), used(o) graphite bars, 1958, Wilding: Queen Elizabeth II; the Wildings were a series of definitive postage and revenue stamps featuring the Dorothy Wilding photographic image of Queen Elizabeth II, at age twenty-six, that were in use between 1952 and 1971, watermarked: upright 3rd Wilding watermark: multiple Saint Edward's Crowns (tiered crown lobes), no E2R utilized, Scott watermark #322, Stanley Gibbons watermark #179, 3 pence, perforated: 14½x14, photogravure printed, from a sheet, customer torn perforations on all four sides (TTTT),  "ER" in the top corners, hash marks for the oval border, regional flowers and values in the lower corners, no phosphorus, two parallel, left and right, graphite bars on the back, Scott (deep purple), Stanley Gibbons (deep lilac), Scott 2022 catalog value: 30¢, very slightly off-centered, light, black-inked, broken-up, wavy line cancellation over the middle of the stamp and just into the main image, leaving the main image remarkable clear, sound back, good perforations; centering, image clear cancel, and graphite bars warrant a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer; the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.66 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
