Item Description

Great Britain, Scott #358cd (Stanley Gibbons #592l), used(o), 1959, Wilding: Queen Elizabeth II; the Wildings were a series of definitive postage and revenue stamps featuring the Dorothy Wilding photographic image of Queen Elizabeth II, at age twenty-six, that were in use between 1952 and 1971, watermarked: upright 3rd Wilding watermark: multiple Saint Edward's Crowns (tiered crown lobes), no E2R utilized, Scott watermark #322, Stanley Gibbons watermark #179, 3 pence, perforated: 14½x14, photogravure printed, from a booklet, guillotine cut edges at top and right, customer torn perforations on the bottom and left (CCTT), no phosphorus,  "ER" in the top corners, hash marks for the oval border, regional flowers and values in the lower corners, deep purple, Scott 2022 catalog value: 25¢, Stanley Gibbons 2022 catalog value:£8.00, nicely centered, black-inked, wavy line cancellation over the main image, sound back, good perforations; centering, guillotine cut booklet stamp, graphite bars, and Stanley Gibbons premium evaluation warrant a selling price premium; inventory listing code: MF. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer; the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
