Great Britain, Scott #MH401C (Deegam XXXX)(Stanley Gibbons XXXX), used(o), 2010+, Machin: Queen Elizabeth II, non-value indicated (NVI) 2nd class mail, light blue Forgery, serpentine die cut perforated: 14¾x14¼, self-adhesive gum, faulted and unreadable "Royal Mail" wavy line iridescent overlay indicating a forgery, syncopated/elliptical oval perforation inserts on left and right sides down from the middle, pair of oval security slits with narrow cuts at the top and bottom of the ovals {Deegam type 2a), unreadable and unknown source and year codes, Scott 2022 catalog value: not listed, nicely centered as might be typical of a forgery, intermittent horizontal machine large font, double lined lettering, message cancellation over the bottom half of the stamp and into the main image, good perforations; stamp was removed from its mailing envelope using a Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black card stock for an attractive album appearance, forgery issue warrant a specialist collector premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.
