INTERNATIONAL Paid Reply Card: 4c Liberty, (Scott #UY16), First Day cancel NY Nov 16 1956, mailed at ASDA show, addressed Vieux-Fort St Lucia, British West Indies, message added by the addressee ("Ralph" was Ralph Cron), apparently he kept one of this scarce card and returned one to the sender: Herman Herst, looks Herst personally addressed the card, but he made a mistake, the FD cancel is added to the REPLY CARD and the MESSAGE CARD was used for the return! I'll bet there are very few Reply cards that actually have a First Day cancel, the postmaster marked it as due, then changed his mind and struck out the due cancel with an "OMS" mute oval, that card also picked up the Dec 18 1956 Vieux-Fort St Lucia cancel (see second scan), some stray ink and edge flaws as always with these intact Message-Reply cards, Fine-VF

Scott lists at $90 for commercial overseas intact usage. While you could argue that this is a FD card, UPSS notes that first day cards of international usages are equal to commercial cards. You could (if you were a fool) remove the message card and call that UY16m which cats for commercial use at $40.

For the St. Lucia collector you should note that they dropped the hyphen and today Vieux-Fort is Vieux Fort.  

No matter what, just TRY and find another... The Herman Herst aspect adds character to this scarce card.
