Item Description

This picture postcard depicting the 'Hotel Paramount, New York City' and reading "In the Heart of the Great White Way," was mailed locally and also redirected in Manhattan, was franked by a one-cent George Washington Prexie Coil issue of 1939, Scott 839 (faulty). The stamp is tied to the cover by a Station-G machine cancellation.

The advertising message is printed in cursive and extols a few of the hotel's amenities: "Try our complete business men's luncheon which includes a Manhattan, Bronx, or Martini Cocktail for 65¢..."
