A nice, bright, classic, early stamp from Italy Scott #17, Sassone #1.  The stamp is postally used, previously hinged. There is a shorten corner, upper right, and a shorten perf., on the top row. The perforations cut into the design on the right but clear the design on the other three sides. Sassone Catalogue price for this stamp is €350,00 ($437.50). Scott Catalogue price is $325.00 for this stamp. Please check scan for perfs. and centering.
