Item Description
Grade: UngradedFirst Day Cover of Japan's 1975 Philatelic Week stamps (Scott# 1211-1212). The stamps were mounted on a SOPEX '75 card and received the FDC cancel in red. SOPEX '75 was a stamp show put on by the Samuel Osgood Stamp Club in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The theme of the show was a salute to Japan's Philatelic Week and Stamp Collectors worldwide. The souvenir card prepared for the show features designs of several Japanese Philatelic Week stamps of the past. There is a serial number on the back of the card indicating it is # 180. Includes a protective envelope inscribed with the SOPEX '75 logo.
