Item Description
Second is the Chinese original 1968 issued stamp not for sale from this lot. This is a Korean reproduction issued 2011. Mao in 1921 went to AnYuan. Hunan to provoke a miners strike. In this oil painitng Mao walked ~150 km to stir up a strike in a traditional Chinese robe. Later Mao took 1 look said he had a short coat on that day hinted he did not walk, took a train instead. This was initially a popular propaganda painting admiring Mao discreate Liu ShaoQi. A copy was delivered to Vantican and had it hung on the wall across from Pope John Paul VI by mistake. The Chinese tunic looks like a priest dress. The other cto stamp is not available from another lot. Left only. Gum intact. Enjoy the story.Seller Information
