Item Description

Lot of 26 envelopes containing varying amounts of mixed Japanese stamps. Seem to be mostly used with some unused as well. Stamps range from early 1900s onward, with some 1970s/80s, but the majority of the stamps are pre-1970s. For twelve of the envelopes, I've photographed the stamps outside of the envelopes; for the other 14 I've photographed the envelopes in small groups. There is wide variety of stamps, but also many duplicates. Some envelopes were reused to store the stamps, so may have irrelevant information written on them (prices, names of countries...).

All stamps I sell are from the collection of a philatelist and stamp dealer who was active between the 1940s through early 2000s. Most of the stamps were accumulated before the 90s, and much of the collection seems to have been untouched for multiple decades. As such, in many cases the envelopes stamps are in or pages/cards they are on may be quite aged/yellowed, and info/notes written (such as pricing) may no longer be accurate. Please be aware of this and use your discretion when purchasing. I take care to show fairly clearly everything included in a listing, within reason, even with larger lots, so that you can get a clear picture of what you will be receiving. And please feel free to send any inquiries you may have.

Shipping: If any shipping charges are leftover after I purchase the shipping label (either due to final shipping weight being lower than estimated, or due to PayPal shipping discounts), the difference will be refunded back to you.

Returns: Return shipping is free (for domestic/U.S. orders only) on smaller, simpler listings (such as individual stamps, sets, or small lots of stamps sets) if you are not satisfied. On larger lots or stamp albums/collections, return shipping is paid by the buyer if not satisfied, unless of course there is a gross inaccuracy with the listing/order (for instance, if I were to send the wrong lot accidentally, or the condition of the items in the lot was not properly conveyed).
