Item Description

Malaya Pahang Malaya Pahang 1891 2c on 24c Green BROKEN "T" VARIETY With Sismondo and earlier BPA Certificates, SG 10 type 8, Scott 10 type d, MH/MM, Cat £1,100($1,440)+.........Scott Cat $1,200+

Notes:- This stamp, very scarce in any event, occurs just once in the sheet with the broken T. Please see very comprehensive certificate from Sergio Sismondo with additional notes from his research.

Condition Notes: -

1) There is a tiny faint mark lower right corner which does not show in fluid, the BPA certificate describes this as a repair. 

2) There is some redistribution of gum in central area, likely post earlier hinge removal, the BPA certificate describes this as re-gumming. 

Fresh with very good color, well centered, has a very faint mark by LE of Settlements (really only noticeable on HI RES scan and not mentioned on either cert) with a central pencil id and light evidence of hinging and some central gum redistribution on other wise full original gum.

Very scarce 1891 2c on 24c Green BROKEN "T" VARIETY, SG 10 type 8, Scott 10 type d in not perfect but still in fine mint condition for this rare stamp.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance 

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge. 

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum 

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back 

Unused = No gum
