This plate variety occurred only in Row 10 / Column 5 of Settings III/IV. Scott #27a variety, catalog value for normal is $47.50 (2021 Classic Specialized). Stanley Gibbons #40b variety. Wood Figure 43. "One CENT" in thick romans, "PERAK" in small roman capitals (Row 10 of Settings III/IV). 1887 "One CENT PERAK" on Straits 2 cent pale rose (later bright rose) wmk Crown CA. See photo of back.
