Newfoundland: five checks_,_ two with the 5c caribou stamp, two with the 3c royal family issue and one with the 1c cod & 2c royal family, 1945-6 usages on _canadian bank of commerce_ checks, st john's branch, roughly 3.5" x 8", the 5c caribou usages are 1 on face & 1 on reverse, sm flts and light soiling, the 3c royal family issue usages are also 1 on face & 1 on reverse, one is more flty than the other, some soiling and typical creases, the combination usage is ok except the 2c royal family (#245) is flty_,_ some creases, an easy way to get several of these unusual fiscal usages, fine-vf
