Item Description
Cover, 1937 Definitive Issue, tied to cover with a Minna, Nigeria, CDS. Stamp is VF. Censored by censor 12 using a red hand stamp. Sent to Lincoln, NE. Back stamped at Lagos at 8:30 AM on 26 Sep 1940. Also on back is a stamp in black ink promoting the PO savings bank: "Open a Post Office Savings Bank Acct." Envelope has been cut just to the left of the stamp and part of the back flap is missing due to the cut. Otherwise, cover is in relative good shape for an 80-year-old.
