Item Description

This was one of many postal cards that Dr. F. A. Chenoweth saved during his years as a physician in Winchester, Indiana. Each card has two punched holes. This card came from the O. F. Schmid Chemical Company in Jackson, Michigan. (The company name changed to Nulyne Laboratories in 1919.) The company stamped this card with the date of February 16, 1912. The flag cancel from Winchester includes a CDS date of February 17, 1912.

The auxiliary postal marking says this postal card was "Stuck to Letter Addressed to Cleveland, Ohio. That probably explains the absence of a Jackson, Michigan postmark.

This postcard will be mailed in a thick (but not rigid) protective plastic sleeve and will be sent via first class mail. You may combine this item with similar sale items to save on shipping. Thank you for looking.
