Undated -Pacific Union U58 entire - Stockton to San Francisco, California. Blue Wells Fargo Stockton postmark.

The Pacific Union Express was founded by the Central Pacific Railroad to service California and Nevada in direct competition with Wells Fargo. It was sold to Wells Fargo in 1869, and Wells Fargo used the remaining stock of Pacific Union envelopes.
