Excellent example with appropriate TAIPENG cds (Proud D8, used 1890-1901), see photo of cancel from Proud's book). Only 840 stamps of this setting were printed. Scott #38, catalog value $200.00. Stanley Gibbons #44. Wood Figure 47: "PERAK" in sans-serif capitals; "One" in italics; "CENT" in thick roman capitals (from Row 6). 1891 "PERAK One CENT" on Straits 6c violet.
