This one-cent black / buff Liberty postal card issue of 1873, Scott UX5, was mailed from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Boston, Massachusetts in 1880 and cancelled by an '9 in circles' in duplex.Verso is the printed letterhead of 'Roberts & Williams, Dealers in Fruits and Produce' with a written note about an apple order. Addressed to the WW & CR Noyes Company in Boston, their private blue double circle receiving date stamp appears verso.
