Philippines 1945 Victory Covers 2 Variety Postal Stationary Cards , ERRORS These 2 Postal Card are US Possesion Scott # UX23 and UX23a ( UPSS # 27a and UPSS 29a ) The first one is postmarked in Leyte October 20 1945 Handstamped Cachet of the 1st aniversary of D-Day. The landing of McArthur and Liberation of the Philippines The other is postmarked in Manila with the special Cancellation of the Unconditional surrender Sept 2 1945 What is Interesting that both of these 2 Covers ( Postal Cards ) have a printing ERROR indicated by the Red Arrow on the plastic cover indicating a missing portion (bottom part ) of the vertical dividing line. *** This was in a collection and done by the previous owner of these 2 covers. See Front and Back 2 two enclosed in plastic protected sleeves.
