Philippines: 2c Pink, Commonwealth w VICTORY overprint, (Scott #485), six examples incl strip 4 and two singles, all tied by Cebu City Oct 21 1946 handstamp cancels to small printed env, addr Kansas City MO USA, some flaws, envelope is an order from National Bellas Hess and the cover was printed bilingual, appears to be sent by a local woman, used in that time period when the Philippine government had received independence, but could still use the old US stamps, this stamp originally had a printing of over 200 million and over 65 million were released as the Victory overprint (#485), still with all the copies that went into albums and were used for commemorative purposes, actual COMMERCIAL USAGES are very rare, great opportunity, Fine-VF, TOUGH!!!!
