Item Description

The auction item consists of 100 identical stamps as shown in the picture. The stamps are in similar condition, with no major damages. Postmarks are located in various, random places.
A Polish postage stamp from 1966 with a value of 20 groszy. It depicts the lighthouse in Hel, one of the most distinctive landmarks on the Polish coast.
The stamp features the inscription "POLSKA", indicating the country of origin, as well as the name of the site: "HEL LATARNIA MORSKA". At the bottom, the names of the designers, T. Michaluk and B. Kowalska, are displayed, along with information about its issuance by the Państwowa Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych (PWPW – State Security Printing Works) in 1966.

It is part of a series of stamps promoting tourism and important landmarks in Poland.
