Item Description

SCV $22.35 (2018). A mixed package of general issue, air mail & postal tax stamps from six Portuguese Colonies. All, but one, are used. The packaging specifies a count of 50 stamps, but a physical count of the package has determined that there are actually fifty-six (56) stamps present. All of them are different except for one set of duplicates (i.e. 55 different stamps). The heading "ULTRAMAR" means "overseas" in Portuguese and the text at the bottom of the package (i.e. "SELOS CRITERIOSAMENTE SELECCIONADOS POR ANRAP") translates to "STAMPS JUDICIOUSLY SELECTED BY ANRAP" in English.

There are 35 stamps from Angola, 14 stamps from Mozambique, five stamps from Portuguese Guinea and one stamp each from Cape Verde, Timor and Macao.
