Item Description

In 2013 Iceland issued the fourth set of stamps celebrating Icelandic Contemporary Design -- two of the stamps showed a Puffin drawn in Native Peoples style, and a sofa - the back of which is cut to the shape of Iceland's upper half!

Cartoonist and Cachetmaker Dave Bennett shows a startled Puffin encountering the more designy version of himself relaxing on the sofa only an Icelandic Interior Decorator could recommend!

The cover bears two of the four stamps issued on March 14, 2013, and has two strikes of the official Reykjavík First Day of Issue cancel.

The reverse shows that this is cover #7 of only 10 made!
