Are all the stamps surcharged in black? They also come in blue and red. the top right appears to be red and the lower right is black. Therefore, it is a mixed set. Please confirm.

Thank you for your inquiry. You are correct. The stamps 114-114G are surcharged with new currency in black or red. This set has six stamps that are in red, two that are in black and are NH. Please advise if you are still interested in purchasing this set.

I think what happened was back in 1967 dealers did not realize that the set came with black or red overprints. When they made up sets they got them mixed. The red overprints are not even valued in the Michel catalog. I have a mixed set too. Trying to complete both sets seems very difficult and next to imposable. My set has the 5 lower value stamps in red and the 3 higher value stamps in black. The only stamp I would need would be the 1 Ryal stamp in red. Unfortunately trying to look for particular stamps is not easy as the red overprints do not have Scott catalog numbers. In my notes I have given the red overprint the Scott numbers 114h-114Go. From the scan on Hipstamp you must have had more than 1 set. The best way for collectors to get what they need is to sell the stamps separately. I would value the red overprint at twice the catalog value in Scott. This is only a suggestion. What are you thoughts?
