Item Description

Queensland, Scott 79. The Two Shillings stamp from the series of 1886, on thick paper. This one with fairly clean perfs. SON cancel which places the crown directly on Queen Victoria's head! Stamp shows a crease horizontally, just above the tablet with TWO SHILLINGS, which apparently picked up some of the ink from the cancellation device.
