The stamp shown in the scans is the stamp you will receive.

I bought thi stamp from a relaible source and have done my best to ensure the accuracy of the description. It may not be returned for defects visible in the scans provided. Nor can the stamp be returned for “grading” (e.g., F-VF or numeric scale) because I have made no claims as to grade.

If the buyer wishes to have the stamp authenticated as a genuine Scott #R4a by The American Philatelic Expertizing Service (APEX), The Philatelic Foundation (PF), Philatelic Stamp Authentication and Grading Inc. (PSAG), or Professional Stamp Experts (PSE), I am happy support the process under the following conditions:
1. The buyer must submit the stamp to one of the agencies listed above within 21 days of receipt as shown by USPS Delivery Confirmation of my shipment.
2. A digital copy (scan) of the application for a certificate must be submitted to me simultaneously via the HipStamp message portal. If no certificate application is received from the buyer within the 21-day period, the transaction will be deemed closed, the sale final, and no return will be allowed.
3. It is expected that the expertizing review will be completed within 90 days with results posted to me by the buyer via the HipStamp message portal. It is the buyer’s responsibility to notify me if an extension is required prior to the end of the 90-day period. If no communication is received from the buyer within the 90-day period, the transaction will be deemed closed, the sale final, and no return will be allowed.
4. All costs for Expertizing will be paid by the buyer. However, should an adverse opinion regarding authenticity be rendered, then I will forward an immediate refund of: (a) the cost of the certificate, which shall not to exceed $50.00; (b) the full purchase price; and (c) the postage to return it via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation, provided the stamp is returned to me in the same condition as when purchased. The adverse certificate and a copy of the supporting invoice must also accompany the return.
