The Claude C. Ries Chapter of the AFDCS celebrates every Spring with a Luau-themed get-together.  The Poi and Pineapple Smoothies flow freely and a good time is had by all.

An event cover always celebrates our camaraderie with a tie-in to one of the current stamp issues . . and 2025's cover bears two of the then-recent Fishing Lures stamps.

This cachet - saluting the fifteenth annual incarnation of the Ries Luau - features our acclaimed hostess of the event, Ms. Alvetia E., joined by the ever-present roast pig mascot of the Luau as they use a special pineapple lure to attract fish!

The 'POPPER' and 'SPINNER' stamps are cancelled with a facsimile postmark.
