Unique FDC produced by reductive cutting of a linoleum block by cachet artist Sabrina Curtis for the 37c Snowy Egret stamp issued Oct. 24, 2003, in New York, NY. Signed and numbered on face (10/30). The Transcendental Arts Council logo on back.
Reductive cutting is an old and time intensive technique for transferring color from a single block of linoleum to various media. Sabrina and her cachet artist husband Dave Curtis have perfected the technique for FDC cachet art.
