Item Description
This World War 1 era cover was mailed from San Francisco, California to Okanogan Washington in 1918, franked by a 3-cent George Washington issue that was tied by a machine cancellation.The illustrated corner card, depicting the NDC Shield with Starts logo reads: "National Defenders Club, San Francisco."
Slit / torn (a little roughly) open left with some small envelope sections avulsed, the backflap has one tear but is otherwise sealed and intact (see scans). No contents or backstamps.
The cover in the scan is the one you will receive.
Any vertical, horizontal, or diagonal light lines in image are scanner artifact !
