Item Description
This two-cent green George Washinton Government Stamped Envelope issue of 1887, Scott U311, was mailed from San Francisco, California to North Bloomfield, California in 1897 and was cancelled by a Hanmer #10/D2s/K2 Barry machine cancellation.the Corner Card Reads:
'Return to W.B. Sumner & Co.,
121 & 123 Clay St., San Francisco, Cal.,
If not delivered within 10 days.'
Cut open right so barely reduced, the backflap is sealed and intact. No contents. Machine cancel set off verso. North Bloomfield receiving cds verso.
