Joint Issue FDC produced for the 22c Statue of Liberty stamp issued on July 4, 1986 at Liberty Island, New York/New Jersey (Sc. 2224). DUAL cancelled with both the U.S. First Day Cancel and the French First Day Cancel, both dated July 4, 1986. The French stamp features the same design as the U.S. Statue of Liberty stamp. Purple & red cachet produced by Artmaster, featuring the Statue of Liberty, plus an inset image of Frederic Bartholdi, the sculptor who created the Statue. Unaddressed.
