FDC produced for the 3c stamp issued in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 24, 1944, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the first message transmitted by telegraph (Sc. 924). Black typed hand made cachet produced by an Unknown Cachetmaker, featuring typed text about the stamp. Not listed in _Mellone's Specialized Cachet Catalog of First Day Covers of the 1940s_.
