Hello! This auction is for a MINT NEVER HINGED Very Fine PRECANCELED PLATE BLOCK #27473 the 1c Andrew Jackson Regular Issue, Scott #1209. It is untagged, PRECANCELED "CLEVELAND OHIO", Precancel Stamp Society Style 71. The scan above represents the block that you will receive. The block has no flaws or faults. Commonly found used, infrequently found with never hinged original gum. The Precancel Stamp Society Bureau Precancel Catalog, 5th Edition states: "Some collectors collect bureau precancels with gum. This is particularly challenging for issues before August 1967. Previously, sale of precancels to collectors was prohibited, and most dealers in bureaus soaked off the gum to avoid the appearance of violating postal regulations.
