Item Description

Here is a post office fresh example of the 20 cent George C. Marshall stamp, Scott 1289b, from the Prominent Americans definitive series. You will receive a mint never hinged plate block of four with plate number 38939 on the upper right margin.  This is the dull gum, tagged variety.  The color on these plate blocks doesn't have much of a "brown" or "olive" appearance in comparison to other 1289 examples I have, so I believe they are the "dark olive" variety.  The pictured stamps are the stamps you will receive.  Good luck bidding and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
