Item Description

Here is a nice long strip of twelve of the 29c Santa coil, Scott 2873b. These strips were issued from Kansas City in coil format and were used to service first day covers. They were offered through the Philatelic Catalogue in strips of twelve. This particular strip has been folded once three stamps to the right of the plate number stamp. The plate number is on the fifth stamp from the left in the picture. The remaining stamps are folded underneath in the picture. Face value on the strip is $3.48 with a plate strip of five cataloging at $7.25. Total catalogue value on this strip is $12.15. Are these coils missing from your collection? Why not add them today?
