Item Description

First day of issue covers for the US Olympian stamps Scott numbers 2496-2500. All copies are still in the plastic covering they were placed in by the cancelling process. Postmark is Minneapolis, Mn. Jul 6, 1990. Name and address are in light pencil and can be erased if removed from the plastic. I chose to store them intact. Photo of the cover is representative of all covers I am intending to sell, the cancel bar strikes through the 25 and the USA. The top plastic cover with Jessie Owens has a sales sticker in the upper left corner. All copies have the Philatelic Sales Division postcard included (see photos). There are single FDC of the other stamps on the sheet listed. I do not have any covers of the five stamps on one envelope.
