The Claude C. Ries Chapter - a fun-loving aggregation of Southern California FDC collectors - gathers every Spring for a bountiful Mexican feast at the home of club President Shirley Ulling. Tacos, Enchiladas, Beans and anything edibly Mexican are on the menu!In this YEAR OF THE SNAKE, one of the revered Chinese reptiles showed up at the party dressed for the occasion - and used his forked tongue to lick his lips over Shirley's platter of tacos!
These covers were handed out to all TacoFest attendees in March, 2025 and a few were left over. This one is franked with the YEAR OF THE SNAKE issue and received a custom faux cancel.
