Spain Scott 605A (Mi721var) MNHOG Footnoted in Scott and Michel - 1938 1p Submarine Mail Proof - "...were issued for a proposed submarine mail service between Barcelona and Mahon, Minorca. One voyage was made on this mail route carrying 300 agency-prepared covers. The stamps were also valid for ordinary mail. Set exists imperf."; Translated from Michel footnote "From Mi 721-724 and 726 numerous proofs in deviating colors are known".
