Item Description

United States, Scott #C136, used(o), 2001 air mail, Scenic American Landscapes Series, stamp shows Nine Mile Prairie in Nebraska, serpentine die cut 11¼x11½, self-adhesive, 70 cents, multicolored, Scott 2019 catalog value: 30¢. Nicely centered, double-rimmed, black-inked, circular corner cancellation at top right and well clear of main image, good perforations; although the self-adhesive gum was water soluble, the stamp was mounted on black card stock to match the other stamps of the series, whose gum was not water soluble. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.
