Back when Hipstamps was "StampWants', we started a fun tradition of 'The Traveling Mousepad' - a StampWants mousepad was sent around to members of the Forum at the time, and each recipient along the way took photos of the Mousepad in local surroundings and posted them.We also raised money for the American Heart Association by supporting member Doug Noernberg's HeartWalk through downtown Cleveland.
But why am I explaining all this when you can read about it yourself on the stuffer accompanying this Year of the Rat FDC commemorating "TM's" visit to California. The cachet depicts a Rat with a lantern, greeting TM in a tropical shirt and headwear! TM's own lantern folds out in an extension of the cachet.
•••• This particular cover was the only one serviced with the small 'rat label' from the stamp's selvage! ••••
We had several fun years of supporting Doug, his charity walk and the AHA! Good memories!
