Item Description

This stamp is in unused condition with evidence of two hinge remnants. Also there is a tiny paper adhesion below the front leg of the camel and a related partial hinge applied to that area on the back of the stamp, suggesting a possible small repair. There is a short, minor crease in the right margin, but it is faint and doesn't show up in my scan.

Virtually all of the pre-1950 stamps I am selling were removed from 1950-era collections I purchased in the 1980s. Some stamps were in mounts on pages, but most were mounted with hinges. I carefully removed the stamps from the old pages and placed them in high quality Leuchturm stock pages or Lindner T-blank album pages. I have not used hinges or mounts on these stamps.
