Bears love role reversals - as demonstrated here by a Mama Bear giving her son a Teddy Roosevelt doll!Originally designed as a First Day Cover for the Teddy Bears set of 4 of August 2002, this envelope was serviced 2 months later with the Teddy Bear pictorial cancel used in Rolling Fork, Mississippi on October 19 near the sight where the legend of Teddy Roosevelt saving a baby bear while on a hunting trip was born!
Unfortunately, the postmark servicer missed the stamp, but the postmark is cleanly struck and provides evidence of the intention of this little philatelic adventure - the only cover with this cachet sent to Mississippi!
The reverse shows that this cover was from Bennett CACHETOONS' 15th anniversary year . . . we're now approaching our 34th year!
